Jongdae is small. For this reason Kris feels more often than not that he ought to be careful with the younger member. Whenever he has to herd the boy along with the rest of them, he remembers to grasp his wrists lightly, as if he's handling glass. He tugs him gently or nudges him along as if guiding a wayward duckling - with the pouting faces and the random wiggling he's prone to breaking out into, that would not be too far off a comparison.

For the most part, Jongdae doesn't mind and if it allows Kris to do enough worrying that he feels better afterward, he's quite okay with that. He likes to remind the taller man though, every now and then, that he's not quite as fragile as he thinks he is. The grip he has on Kris' wrists when he unexpectedly dives on top of him in his random bursts of excitement is strong and tight, small fingers curled around hard limbs as he pins them down on cotton bedsheets. The way his thighs clamp on either side of Kris' hips is firm, more secure than someone might expect from his stick skinny limbs.

When they kiss, Jongdae teases him into yanking him back into his chest when he bites down on full lower lip in play and backs up when Kris tries to kiss him deeper. The younger boy coaxes him into digging blunt nails into his thighs, leaving marks but always where they can be covered - even then, Kris is always careful.

Kris still handles him like paper and bird bones - it's a habit that can't be broken. But it's fine because Jongdae never tires of reminding him he's a bit sturdier than that.
